Touch Typing is an iOS app that teaches you to type without looking at the keyboard using structured lessons, real-time speed and accuracy feedback, and personalised drills that target your specific weak spots.
Most users reach 40 WPM (words per minute) within 4 to 6 weeks of consistent daily practice (15 to 20 minutes per day). Reaching 60 to 80 WPM typically takes 2 to 3 months depending on your starting speed and practice frequency.
Yes. Touch Typing is designed for use with a Bluetooth or Smart Keyboard connected to an iPad or iPhone. Using a physical keyboard significantly accelerates learning compared to the on-screen keyboard.
After each session, the app analyses which keys or bigrams (two-key combinations) you typed slowly or inaccurately and automatically generates targeted drills to reinforce those specific movements.
Touch Typing includes free access to beginner lessons. Advanced courses, detailed analytics, and the full lesson library require a Pro subscription.
